I had shopped online at a few places for my bridesmaids dresses, and they kept falling through. David's Bridal was the worst, by the way. My mother in law had run into this shop by accident and fallen in love herself, so I decided to give it a try last minute. Pam was AMAZING. She made the dresses herself, absolutely beautifully and in a time crunch. The prices were reasonable (considering the quality, the hand-made everything and the time pinch, they were very inexpensive), and they were absolutely gorgeous. I was so thankful for Pam, she was so flexible and helpful! I asked her to make some last minute alterations to my wedding dress as well, and she gave it new life! It was amazing what she can do with a few stitches. After my wedding, she sent it to a trusted cleaner that hand-washed my dress, and had it packaged in museum - quality packing so that the color will never fade and it will not wrinkle. I will ALWAYS recommend her to everyone, and I will always shop there when I need a beautiful dress for an event. Not a single complaint! I was lucky to have met her.
I am a bit late at adding my review but I went to Pamela in September 2016 to alter a bridesmaid's dress for my sister's October wedding. I had purchased the dress in February 2016, when I was 40 pounds heavier and I was nervous about the massive alterations that needed to be made. From the beginning, Pamela eased my worries and I was confident in her knowledge and abilities. She was patient and attentive to my concerns and requests and never made me feel like I was asking too much. Pamela did an incredible job taking the dress down four sizes!! To look at it, you would never know the dress used to a size 18! Excellent, quality craftswomanship and caring customer service. Well worth it.
Absolutely gorgeous selection for any style, both bridal and bridesmaids plus some fun party and prom dresses. Pamela herself is wonderful and super helpful and friendly.
Since finding Pamela's shop in Downtown Bratt a few years ago, I no longer fret about weddings, cocktail parties, or other events where formal dress is expected. Pamela has a wonderful eye. Each time she's chosen a handful of looks I would not have selected for myself. Each time, I have to talk myself down from buying all of them. Often the dresses are samples, or in very limited production. Thus, you get a unique option for a fraction of the cost. Finally, she will recommend (and execute) alterations to make whichever frock you pick look like it was made for you personally. Check out her shop and stride with style into your next formal event!
I am leaving this post because both times I have gone to Pamela, she has been incredible! My first experience was when she made my wedding dress back in 1999. She was great to work with and did a beautiful job! I didn't even have a pattern - I just described what I wanted and we drew out an idea on paper! I went back, this past spring, looking for a gown for my son's wedding and she was just as great! Not only did she have exactly what I was looking for, Pamela did all the alterations and had it ready in a very short amount of time.
