We loved our stay at the Crosby House. It's easy walking distance to downtown Brattleboro (which is full of fun stores and delicious restaurants). Our room was perfectly cozy in the middle of the winter and each breakfast was amazing. If you're looking for a quiet, lovely place to stay with wonderful hosts, this would be an excellent choice. We are already looking forward to returning for another visit!

We planned to stay at this inn last August 2016 but unfortunately I broke my ankle and we had to cancel our stay. Lynn was the only inn owner who was compassionate and kind enough to refund our deposit. We will never forget her kindness.
Wonderful house, warm and gracious hospitality; the perfect place to stay around the winter holidays. Cozy, comfortable, quaint; charming atmosphere. Excellent food.

Excellent location, walkable into downtown and if you're there on a Saturday also walkable to the Brattleboro Farmers Market. The Retreat Trail is accessible from the backyard, and well worth hiking if you like a pleasant but not overly difficult trek.
My husband and I stayed here in June 2017. It is a beautiful inn and is convenient to downtown. Lynn, the owner, and Maria, the inn keeper, were very hospitable and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much.
