first visit i rate 4 out of 5 stars. second visit, very disappointed due to vague answers to my questions and lack of concern to follow up even though i was persistent about this and voiced my concern for follow up,due to a chronic disease that has needed treatment for four years now and continues to be put off. i have a visit again this coming friday(first week of August 2013) ...i plan to go in with a notebook of all questions and topics for discussion ... we will see what mr. potash will think of this, b/c i want and need info on my condition and answers to my health questions. ...if all goes well, i will re-post a review stating the such.
Great doctor alot of doctors diagnose you quickly and just put you on medicine, this one actually does testing and gets to the bottom of it, yeah he has a way of words but thats just his personality

Dr. Potash has made my living with ulcertive colitis not only bearable but his patience and understanding and answering my questions is amazing.
Dr Potash is a great doctor, NOT GOOD, GREAT. He is wicked smart, and is caring and takes in my concerns as a patient, he has taught me much about various conditions/ illnesses i've gone to him for. He often has re-read my entire chart before saying anything... i have been his patient for at least 16 years and HE IS THE BEST Gastro. I think sometimes people don't "get him" b/c He has a dry and intelligent sense of humor.. BUT he is awesome, he is thorough.. he has helped me by putting me on special food plan when i was sick for decade plus and nobody else could figure it out. If you want a good doctor he is the one, if you want to be coddled and treated like a baby go to someone else.. those are the ones that don't do anything but talk and maybe have empathy, he knows his stuff and is compassionate, listens, explains ect. if you have a problem comprehending him or any doctor i recommend bringing a tape recorder so you can hear again what's said, and take a list of Q's with you and write the answers, he will take the time to address your concerns.
