Great food and friendly service! My six year old said it was the best food he ever had.
We stopped off here as we were passing through Vermont on our way back to New York and were so glad we did. The fried fish was light and crispy not over battered and the fish tasted fresh. The sweet potato fries had a nice crunch without being soggy. The portions were appropriate, we each had a small and ate all of our food and it was enough. I'm not a huge fan of the additional charge for tartar sauce and coleslaw as that is typically included at other fish joints. I understand though that they make those items from scratch. I do wish I could have had a side of salad or coleslaw included with my meal. There were a lot of fries and I would have sacrificed some of one for the other. That's the only reason for the 4 rating. Overall a nice experience and I would go back if I were in the area again.
Reminds me a lot of the kinds of fish and chips that I remember from England. It's a great small business, with food that's always fried yo perfection.
The food in this lovely little eatery is fresh and delicious. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended.
